The Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi is the Institute's dedicated platform for fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, technology translation, and startup development. Established with the vision of creating a vibrant innovation ecosystem, the Centre serves as a catalyst for transforming ideas, research outcomes, and emerging technologies into impactful products, intellectual property, startups, and scalable enterprises.

CIIE promotes an interdisciplinary culture of innovation by bringing together students, faculty, researchers, alumni, industry, investors, and government agencies to collaboratively address real-world challenges. The Centre supports the entire innovation lifecycle—from ideation and design thinking to prototyping, validation, commercialization, and venture creation.

The Centre works in close coordination with the Ideation, Innovation, and Incubation (I3) Foundation (I3F), the Section 8 company of IIT (BHU), Varanasi, which provides institutional support for startup incubation, venture acceleration, technology commercialization, industry partnerships, investment facilitation, and entrepreneurial growth.
