E-Resources
The Shreenivas Deshpande Library is a part of the institute-wide network. The library has 2 servers, 70 PCs and other accessories adequate to cater to the needs of the library users. 50 PC are meant for users to access, databases, e-books, e-journals and other e-resources installed in e-Library section. All the sections of the library are connected to the computer network and Wi-Fi enabled. Users are welcome to use their laptops in the library.
For an uninterrupted power supply, the library has five online UPS of approx 45 KVA capacity and a 40 KVA DG set. The library has also installed CCTV with 60 IP based colour cameras and three colour monitors for security purposes. We have also two multimedia projectors, which are frequently used for presentation and User Awareness Services.

Theses and dissertations section holds hard copies of Ph.D. theses and M.Tech dissertations after the conversion into IIT (BHU), Varanasi. Theses and dissertations prior to 2012 can be accessed from the Central Library, Banaras Hindu University.
The section also maintains soft copies of Ph.D. theses in CD form as well as an online Institutional Digital Repository:
