Dr. Uday Shankar is an assistant professor at the School of Materials Science and Technology, IIT BHU. He earned his B.Tech. in Polymer Science and Rubber Technology from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) in 2012, M.Tech from IIT Kharagpur in 2015, and Ph.D. in Polymer and Process Engineering from IIT Roorkee in 2021. After completing his Ph.D., he moved to Jeonbuk National University in Jeonju, South Korea, where he worked as a postdoctoral researcher. Before joining SMST, Dr. Shankar served as an assistant professor at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Allahabad from 2023 to 2024.
