Dr. Aishwarya Mishra is working as Assistant Professor at IIT(BHU)-Varanasi since July, 2025. Prior to this, he worked for 4 years as Assistant Manager (Mining) at Coal India Limited. While working at Coal India Limited, he qualified First Class Manager's Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted) examinations conducted by the Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS). Dr. Mishra received PhD and Integrated Dual Degree in Mining Engineering from IIT(BHU) in year 2021 and 2015 respectively. His research focus is underground mine ventilation and mine environment, and numerical simulations to better understand the mine environment with intention to improve the working condition in opencast as well as underground mines.
