Dr. Pavan Pujar joined the Department of Ceramic Engineering, IIT (BHU) in 2023. He earned his Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka Surathkal, working jointly at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai. Subsequently, Dr. Pavan served as a Brain Korea Postdoctoral Researcher at the Multi-Functional-Nano-Bio-Electronics-Lab at Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea. During this time, he specialized in designing and fabricating ultralow power electronic devices, particularly field-effect transistors using oxide semiconductors and unconventional ultrathin ferroelectrics. His expertise encompasses thin film processing for energy-efficient electronics. His research findings have been published in renowned peer-reviewed journals of Materials Science and Engineering, and he holds patents in both Indian and Korean jurisdictions.
